EXHIBITION & EXPERIMENTATION

The exploration of new ideas is at the core of Surya’s practice. Treating the internal development of design as somewhat of a laboratory allows the freedom to pursue creative thinking with real freedom. This can be through the unique application of materials and process, or through the investigation of form and functionality. The outcomes are often simply for limited exhibition pieces, but can also lead to more commercial product or project works. The motivation behind the ‘Laboratory’ is to always stay curious and maintain a sense of play.
